360 K9 is operated by Kris Drake as a sole trader in the United Kindom. 360 K9 provides professional dog training services in Bognor Regis, West Sussex. We take your privacy seriously and are committed to protecting your personal data in line with UK data protection laws (UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018). 360 K9 holds valid public liability insurance.

Information We Collect

We collect the following information through our Microsoft Forms:

• Your name
• Email address
• Phone number
• Details about your dog (e.g. name, age, breed, behaviour history, training needs)

How We Use Your Data

Your information is used to:

Assess your dog’s behaviour and training needs.
Create, adapt, and update individual training plans.
Contact you regarding bookings, sessions, or progress updates.

We only collect and use data that is relevant to providing our training services.

How Your Data Is Stored

All Microsoft Forms submissions are automatically saved to a secure Excel spreadsheet.

Once stored, your name is removed and replaced with a unique customer ID to protect your identity.

The spreadsheet is password-protected and stored securely on Microsoft’s encrypted cloud system.

Only authorised personnel from 360 K9 have access to this data.

Data Retention

We keep your data for as long as it is necessary to provide our services and maintain accurate training records. After your training is complete, personal data is retained for up to 12 months, after which it will be permanently deleted or fully anonymised.

Sharing Your Data

We do not share, sell, or rent your data to third parties. Your data will only be shared if required by law or with your explicit consent.

Your Rights

Under UK data protection law, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction or deletion of your data.

Travel / Mileage

At 360 K9, we’re pleased to offer one-to-one training sessions throughout the local area. To keep things clear and fair for everyone, the following travel policy applies:

• Free travel is included for all clients located within a 15-mile radius of Bognor Regis.
• For locations beyond this area, a mileage fee of £0.50 per mile (round trip) will be added to cover fuel and travel time.
• Distances are calculated using Google Maps from our Bognor Regis base to your chosen training location.
• For sessions involving longer travel times (typically over 45 minutes each way), an additional fee may apply or a mutually convenient location can be arranged.

We appreciate your understanding — this helps us keep our service flexible, fair, and accessible to as many dog owners as possible.

Terms & Conditions – 360 K9

General

By booking a session with 360 K9, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. Our aim is to provide effective, ethical, and science-based training for you and your dog. All training is carried out by or under the supervision of a qualified 360 K9 trainer.

Training Disclaimer

Training results vary depending on each dog’s temperament, environment, and owner commitment. 360 K9 cannot guarantee specific outcomes but will use professional skill, care, and experience to achieve the best possible results. Owners are responsible for continuing the training outside of sessions and following guidance provided.

Health & Safety

Dogs must be fit, healthy, and fully vaccinated before attending training. Owners must inform 360 K9 of any medical conditions, behavioural concerns, or aggressive tendencies prior to training. Owners are responsible for their dog’s behaviour and safety at all times during sessions. 360 K9 reserves the right to cancel or stop a session if a dog is deemed unwell, aggressive, or unsafe to train.

Liability

While every reasonable precaution is taken, participation in dog training is at the owner’s own risk. 360 K9 accepts no responsibility for injury, loss, or damage to any person, dog, or property during or after training sessions. Clients remain responsible for any damage or injury caused by their dog. This does not exclude liability for negligence on the part of 360 K9 that results in personal injury or death.

Payment & Cancellations

Full payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice may be charged in full. Sessions start and finish at the agreed time; late arrivals may result in reduced training time. Refunds are not available for missed sessions but may be considered in exceptional circumstances.

Training Methods & Equipment

360 K9 uses reward-based, fair, and ethical training methods. Harsh handling, aversive tools (such as prong collars or e-collars), are not permitted during training sessions. Clients agree to follow the trainer’s guidance and use recommended equipment for the welfare and safety of their dog.

Dangerous Dogs Act 1991 (Banned Breeds)

Training for dogs prohibited under the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991 (section 1 breeds) can only be provided upon presentation of the original Exemption Certificate issued by the relevant authority.

 

For reference, these breeds include the Pit Bull Terrier, Dogo Argentino, Japanese Tosa, Fila Brasilerio and the XL Bully.

Media & Marketing

With client consent, 360 K9 may take photos or videos during sessions for training records or promotional use (social media, website, etc.). Clients may withdraw consent at any time by notifying us in writing.

Data Protection

All client information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which complies with UK GDPR. We do not share your personal data with third parties without your consent.

Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
